Hi, my name is Evangeline (or you can call me Eva 😀).
I am from the United States of America 🇺🇸
I am a native English speaker.
I now live in Guatemala with my husband and 3 dogs, Biscuit, Maya, and Bo.
My hobbies include fitness, cooking, baking, traveling, and hiking.
I love trying foods from all over the world and learning about my student's cultures!
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate.

I have a neutral American Accent. I am also fluent in Spanish and have a lot of experience teaching students from all over the world!
I now (as of 2023) have over 9 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language to both adults and children.

I love the cultural exchange of teaching international students. My conversational classes are a great way to learn about interesting topics while improving your English fluency.
Before becoming an English teacher I worked in Human Resources and Sales so I have a lot of knowledge to share with you need Business English.
I also have experience preparing students for their big English tests. I can help you prepare for the TOEFL, IELTS, & Duolingo.
*A 5 minute break in the lesson time may be included

It was my first lesson with Evangeline and it went very well. In the beginning Evangeline gave a nice presentation about herself then I talked about my goals. Later, she talked about her lessons, helped me choose the lesson structure that suits me best, and even sent me homework for the next lesson. The atmosphere was pleasant, professionalism and experience were evident. As a result, I am very satisfied and look forward to continuing lessons with Evangeline.
