My hobbies are reading, making jewellery, playing the flute and the piano and watching movies. My favourite book is The Night Circus. My favourite movies are Amelie and Inception.
I have travelled to Korea three times, Italy two times, Czech Republic, Austria, the Philippines and France. Would love to travel to Switzerland one day.

I have taught at Greenwich College in Sydney for 5 years. I have taught General English pre intermediate, intermediate and upper intermediate and Cambridge. I also did speaking club, which was an optional 1 hr session for students to practise speaking. I’ve taught students privately of various levels. I absolutely love teaching as I’m passionate about helping people meet their goals and I love to learn about different cultures from all over the world. I’ve never actually wanted to become a teacher as my dad would try to push me into becoming one. But since I was a university student, I’ve tutored children and adults and over the years I noticed I actually enjoyed teaching. Now I love it!Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Topics I have covered are job and places, people (character and appearance, life styles, city and country, the environment, holidays, climate and weather, transport, shopping, clothes and accessories, celebrations, festivals and events, places to eat, food and drinks, sports and accidents and injuries.
My teaching method will involve getting to know one another and to find out what the student needs and wants are and how best they retain information. For example some of my students are visual learners so I would use a lot of images.
Everybody learns at a different pace and I’ll cater to the students’ learning speed.

Certificate IV in TESOL - Australiasian Training Academy - 2014Course was completed online. I was required to create lessons plans using a variety of teaching methods and incorporating the four language skills; listening, reading, writing and speaking. I also had to complete a practical component where I had to teach a student privately using a lesson plan that I created.

Another great lesson with Bora. Thanks to her well-organized materials I am learning a lot of expressions, idioms, phrasal verbs and vocabulary. Everything I learned from her lessons stays in my memory for a long time because there are a lot of chances to actually use them in the conversation. Thank you!

Bora is such an amazing person both as a teacher and a communicator! She always kindly prepares well-structured materials before and after the lesson for both of conversational and TED Talk discussion, which helps me widen my vocabulary, idioms, and phrasal verbs. Conversation with Bora is always a pleasure and I find myself being able to talk freely without being nervous :)

Once again, we had a great conversation and a good laugh on some topics. Bora is a good listener and an open-minded person. Having TED Talk discussion with Bora is like chatting with a friend and exchanging thoughts. Her lesson can be flexible but well organised. She can also customise the course based on my needs by using different materials and tools to strengthen my use of EN. I highly recommend Bora as your EN teacher. : )
