My name is Toyosi, and I'm a native of The Federal Republic of Nigeria and I'm a native English speaker. I was born and raised in Lagos. I speak English (obviously haha), Yoruba, and I'm learning Spanish and French. I can personally say that it is never easy to learn a new language, and sometimes it feels like you're in a state of utter confusion, but I can also say that it gets better. As a teacher my main aim is to make my students transition from a stage of difficulty to ease. My lessons would generally be from the English as a Second Language website as it is vast and covers a lot of topics that can be discussed. I would also have some articles and tasks for those students who would like to have a change from the usual conversation classes.Il mio materiale didattico

Toyosi is a very friendly and talkative teacher. The conversation goes easy and fluid and you feel like speaking to a friend from the first moment, and that´s cool.

She payed attention to what I said, asked me good questions and corrected/helped me when I got into trouble. Provided accurate feedback, had interesting stuff to say and kept the conversation going. I definitely recommend her!

The class was so great! It was dynamic, entertaining and I learned new vocabulary and expressions. She speaks very well, she speaks slowly so I can understand. Looking forward to the next class!
