Hello! I am a professional native English teacher and writer with 6 years of experience (2 years on Italki!). I am very passionate and dedicated to help you improve your English! I have a bachelor's degree in English, a CELTA and a master's degree in Arts Management. I lived in Europe for 5 yrs, and I currently reside in NYC. My passion is music and I hope to one day work in this field. Apart from English teaching, I love playing piano and guitar, yoga, going to museums and spending time with friends. I'm open-minded and can discuss a variety of topics. I'm a very sociable person who loves meeting new people. I enjoy getting to know more about my students through my lessons!

Che tipo di insegnante sono

In 2015, I completed the CELTA course from the Randolph School of English in Edinburgh, Scotland. After, I moved to Paris and became a nanny for a French family teaching their children English. Then I traveled around Europe and worked in a company in Paris and Berlin teaching English to adults. I also spent 6 months in St. Petersburg, Russia working in English camps and practicing conversational English with Russian students. Currently, I am living and teaching English In New York City. In total, I have 6 years of experience teaching English to students of all ages with different language goals.

Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento

I like to focus my lessons on a theme, particularly a subject that interests you. I like to immerse my students in the English language by using real life scenarios. In that case, I like to use videos, articles, blogs, podcasts, etc. to spark a conversation as well as engage the students and catch their attention. Through the topics and material I chose, I teach and review grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in order to improve overall speaking skills. I make my lessons tailored to the student based on their desires/needs. I can also practice conversational English with the student teaching them new phrases/expressions in order for the student to gain more confidence in the real world!
