I am a versatile teacher of American English.
I teach children and adult professionals. My students acquire the communication skills that they need, including speaking, reading, vocabulary, pronunciation, job interview and presentation skills. I work mostly with students who have an intermediate to advanced level of English. I am technology literate and I offer personalized content related to YOUR personal or professional interests.
I enjoy adventure travel, photography and videography. I have lived on five continents and I have been living in South America since 2009.

My lessons are about engaging the learner with real English. I spot the exact points where the student needs help, and we handle it on the spot. The students do reading and speaking activities that give them mastery through application of what they have already learned. My teaching style is visual and conversational. I like to use photographs, videos and guided reading and writing activities to teach the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening.
For professionals, my Business and Technology Topics lesson covers a wide range of topics such as Project Management, Information Technology, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Logistics, and Investment. I am a "fast study" and can easily accommodate YOUR specialty.

He uses various teaching materials including movie scripts, speeches and TV commercials to help me learn English an American culture more effectively.
I always feel inspired after his lessons.

Thanks very much for Eric’s help. I have been learning with Eric every morning for two months. The classes are both academic and interesting, due to his wonderful profession and experience. He can easily handle a lot of business topics, from business administration to smart production, from the Silicon Valley to financial crises, with his well prepared and organized teaching resources. What’s more, the way of interaction in the classes is working for me. We are watching video, reading texts, correcting sound, learning word roots and talking about relevant topics, which create lots of circumstances to practice my listening and speaking. That’s amazing! Eric is also great at asking questions. Through the Q &A, he tries to deepen my understanding about the particular points and spark the topics for us to discuss further. Really, I am benefiting a lot from Eric’s course and gonna keep learning with him. I do enjoy Eric’s lesson!
