My name is Beata, and I am Polish. I speak Italian, English, and German. I hold a Master’s degree in Economics and have completed postgraduate studies in English translation and audiovisual translation. In 2022, I graduated in Italian Philology at the University of Pisa (Consorzio ICoN). This year, I began studying Teaching Polish Culture and Polish as a Foreign Language at the University of Silesia.
Mam na imię Beata i jestem Polką. Mówię po włosku, angielsku i niemiecku. Posiadam tytuł magistra ekonomii, ukończyłam studia podyplomowe dla tłumaczy języka angielskiego i przekład audiowizualny. W 2022 r. ukończyłam filologię włoską na uniwersytecie w Pizie (Consorzio ICoN).Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been working as a Polish and Italian language tutor since 2017. I use a variety of materials, both my own and those available online (YouTube, podcasts, educational channels). For each lesson, I prepare materials in Google Docs, which I work on together with the student. In my lessons, I apply the lexical approach, and I tailor the materials to the student's interests.
Pracuję jako lektor języka polskiego i włoskiego od 2017 roku. W swojej pracy korzystam z różnych materiałów – zarówno autorskich, jak i dostępnych online (YouTube, podcasty, kanały edukacyjne). Beata is probably the best language teacher I've had - besides being generally a really interesting and friendly person, she really knows how to adapt based on the needs of the student and always finds a way to get you to practice, whatever your state of mind. Even when I've started the class feeling anxious, I always leave feeling positive and like I've learned something.
The classes are never boring or awkward, even for a total beginner, and she's excellent at explaining complicated things in a way that makes them seem much simpler.

Another excellent lesson! Beata answered my questions and explained everything perfectly. She also provided many helpful examples to help me better understand and remember the grammar.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Polish with Beata. She is a great teacher and was prepared with materials for the lesson. We started with pronunciation and talked a little bit about Krakow since I'm visiting in November. She is very personable and patient. I'm looking forward to continuing my lessons with Beata. Great lesson as usual! We started with a banter about Christmas markets' prices in Poland, Czechia and Germany, carried on with some grammar practice and finished off the lesson by reading and discussing "The Wardrobe" story by Olga Tokarchuk. The lesson was vey productive and enjoyable. Many thanks!
