Hi! I'm a Costa Rican teacher living in South Korea. I love coffee, running, reading novels and news! And of course learning languages. I'm studying Korean and French and I know how difficult is to learn another language. So I am here to facilitate your learning process and reach your goal.
All students are welcome to my classes from absolute beginners to advanced levels.

Laurea triennale - Bachillerato en Filología EspañolaEn esta carrera se estudia Literatura y Lingüística. Se estudia Literatura como: Latinoamericana, Española, Costarricense y Comparada. En la parte de Lingüística se estudia varias ramas como: morfología, sintaxis, fónetica y fonología, lingüística aplicada al español para extranjeros y análisis del discurso. La carrera dura 4 años y aclaro que tengo un bachillerato (no una licenciatura, en la parte de la titulación no está esa opción).

Profesora de Español como Segunda LenguaOfrecí clases a estudiantes de diferentes nacionalidades y con distintos niveles de español del A1 al B2. Diseñé material didáctico para mejorar las habilidades lingüísticas de mis estudiantes en especial en el habla y en la escritura. Motivé a mis estudiantes con retroalimentación positiva para alcanzar sus objetivos académicos. Colaboré con actividades extracurriculares que implicaban aspectos culturales.

Profesora de Español como Segunda LenguaEnsené español a estudiantes con niveles de A1 y A2. Implementé material hecho por mí para mejorar sus habilidades comunicativas.

As always Andrea is an excellent professor. She provides great positive constructive feed back and is very easy to get along with and I feel very comfortable speaking Spanish and learning with her. She provides good materials that are very beneficial for me to learn from and she is always very positive.

Andrea is a fantastic teacher! She's very patient, and I never feel judged when I speak with her. Our conversations flow naturally, so I get great practice with speaking conversationally. She also supplements with lessons and activities so I can improve my grammar. I highly recommend her!
