I am aprofessiona Arabic language teacher, Literary critic. I have Career Certificate for Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language(CCTAFL) from the American University in Cairo (AUC)I got a BA in Arabic language and literature and two diplomas in Teaching Arabic, educational psychology. I also have a MA and PhD in Literary Criticism. The subject of my study was the psychological literary approach and its application to some Arabic novels, as I have a passion for studying linguistics and analyzing literary texts and I have taken many courses in self-awareness, memory, recollection, and how to use the mind in learning everything new. Teaching isn't just a job for me but it is a life to interact with different nationalities and to share our cultures. For me,There is no happier than seeing the joy of my students eyes when they are able to use the Arabic language & enhance it day by day.

For my methodology of teaching, I rely on students’ needs and goals.
I use many books to fulfill my students' learning needs. I will provide you with worksheets, audio and video files, pdf and word documents, and powerpoint materials. I use Google Docs to share and work on documents. After passing each level there is an assessment to move to the next level, My lessons are fun, interactive, and amusing! Hello. My daughter has finished 11 lessons with DR Sara Mahmoud. The lessons were awesome, and I do happy with her progress. Before that my daughter doesn't know anything about Arabic language, but now she can read, write, understand and answer the common questions. Especially I would like to emphasize the qualities of DR Sara Mahmoud. She is honest, kind, open and experienced person. She is focused in reaching your aims and adapts the lessons for you if it needed. I do recommend having classes with DR Sara Mahmoud. Hope to continue work with her. Thank you.
