- I'm from Dongguan, Guangdong, used to live in Macau. I’m an MA student in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at HK PolyU. I have a BA in ENGL Lit and Linguistics. I love interacting with individuals, reading, and hiking while learning a new language ;)

About me: I have deep interests in 2nd language acquisition and Multilingualism. I speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English fluently. I’ve also learned German, Korean and Spanish. My interests include post war lit, early 20th century Chinese lit, biography, YA tv shows, and mental health... I like to learn language through performing. I played Waiting for Godot, Green Book, the Importance of being Earnest, the Homecoming, and Othello at school. I offer conversational lessons and guarantee to provide quality conversation practice to all students. I would like to ask ur interests first and do some research about them before class. Awesome teacher, who teaches me how to learn based on my goals, not just random words. Recommended if you dedicate time for self study and then have Iris as a practice partner who also guides you. Recommended!
