Hello and welcome! I'm Susana from Mexico, a passionate person with a deep love for culture, history, and social causes. I'm constantly learning and, like you, I believe that acquiring a new language opens the door not only to a new way of communicating but also to new perspectives on life and thought. I would be delighted to be a part of your language learning journey.
In addition to working as a Spanish teacher, I am devoted to human rights, therefore i also work at a refugee center in Mexico. As a result of this commitment, my class availability is only visible with one or two weeks' notice.

I have over two years of experience in online Spanish teaching. "My approach is 100% conversational, where we delve into the language through natural and flowing conversations on topics of interest to the student. The goal of these conversations is to boost confidence, identify and correct errors, and expand vocabulary in real and current themes. It is essential to note that the primary aim is to develop the ability to communicate ideas effectively. I have been fortunate to have Susana as my Spanish conversation teacher, and I can confidently say that she has significantly elevated my language skills from A2 to B1 level. Susana's teaching approach is truly outstanding and has immensely contributed to my progress.

Susana was wonderful. She was reassuring and patient, but kept the conversation moving skillfully and in a pleasant and balanced way. She asked me questions about my learning goals and interests, explained how she typically works and instructs, showed me italki classroom resources, and described how she could accommodate my needs. She communicated clearly and made sure that I understood her, checking in periodically and adjusting as needed. I especially appreciated that she shared some of her own interests and story with me, and offered well-targeted suggestions for reading that I would find interesting about the topics I mentioned to her.
