Lin Liao Shi is a pleasure to work with. She is prepared for every session, engaging and encouraging, and she provides homework and additional support after the session. Could not be happier with her as a Chinese teacher.

Hebe Lin is a great teacher. Her classes are well structured and she has a broad teaching plan to improve your Chinese.I recommend Hebe Lin for those who want an organized and efficient teacher who will definitely bring your Chinese up.

Hebe’s teaching style is fun and supportive. She keeps me engaged with a combination of reading exercises, short writing prompts, and videos that touch on idioms and Chinese culture. I appreciate how organized and timely Hebe is. After class, she sends me the content we covered and a Quizlet link containing the new words I encountered. Learning a new language as an adult is hard. Hebe breaks down lessons into chunks that are appropriate for my skill level. This prevents me from being overwhelmed, and ensures that I am able to make steady progress by being able to focus on mastering a manageable amount of new content every week. Overall, I would highly recommend Hebe as a Mandarin instructor!

As usual, Hebe Lin shows her great skills at teaching! I was not at my best today, but I tried hard. Hebe Lin was always patient and encouraging. I love the way she organizes the lesson, starting with a short conversation, with questions about my day, and then reviewing the vocab from the previous lesson in a fun way. I also like the small break with a video, allowing to learn something new about the Chinese culture! All along, Hebe Lin is always making sure the lesson is fun and interactive, keeping my attention at its maximum. I can't imagine a better teacher for me!
