I feel so fortunate to have found Carolina. She is the best! Works with me at my level towards my goals. She uses really good materials that are very helpful. I am always happy to have had a lesson with Carolina. Siempre cinco Estrellas!

Outstanding. I chose Carolina because of how clearly she spoke in her video, making it easy for me to understand her. I also was impressed that she is a journalist. I could tell that she was a nice person. She was very helpful and knowledgeable in our first lesson. I'm going begin regular lessons with her immediately.

I very much appreciate Carolina's endurance and persistence wtih me. Some skills I acquired relatively easily, while with others I have struggled and am still struggling. It must be difficult for a teacher to watch, as it is for a student to experience. It's a new year, I have set new goals, and I always know Carolina will be able to guide me to them. She is always 100% present and focused, and she is the most consistent person I know. This helps me a lot.

I often say similar things about my lessons with Carolina, because they're consistently true. She works me hard. I feel like my brain is getting a workout. We pick difficult material and it's slow going, but I'm learning steadily. I'm learning about the legal system in Colombia and the standards of evidence, and I'm not involved in police or legal work--these are simply topics that have caught my interest in looking at other aspects of Colombian social life. Wherever you are in your studies of Spanish, Carolina can take you higher, at whatever pace you're ready for.

Carolina is working a miracle with me for the third year in a row. In 2024-25 she helped me advance from children's books to those for adults. This year she is helping me overcome a long-term struggle with movies that has lasted four years; honestly I thought this was impossible for me. In a recent evaluation, I was informed that I have a high level of mastery in the formal register in Spanish. I have learned a lot of this from Carolina. If you're having difficulties, or if you want to go as high as possible, she can help you with either or both.

Carolina and I have worked together almost 5-1/2 years. She has helped me develop some highly advanced skills in Spanish, and on the other hand has helped me through difficulties that other students don't have. I've been struggling with movies for 4 years, but since last spring my comprehension has risen to 60-65%. Today we mapped out a plan to improve my mastery of the informal register and daily dialog in movies, which is really a type of storytelling. I'm already a master of the formal register, in large part thanks to her. This will be my year to get on top of this long-standing difficulty.
