Hello! My name is Risa. I was born in Tokyo, so I speak standard Japanese. After I had worked as a jewellery designer for 20 years, I started teaching Japanese in 2020. In my free time, I study physics as a student at the Open University in the UK and I also enjoy swimming, doing yoga and cooking. Especially, I love cooking cuisines from all over the world. Please share your country's dish recipes with me! こんにちは、りさと申します。東京生まれです。２０２０年からitalkiで日本語を教えています。レッスンでは私が先生という立場ながら、皆さんから色々な知識や経験をシェアしていただくことが多く、「私が生徒みたいだな〜！」と思う場面が多々あります（笑）私も皆さんに日本の文化や面白い経験を伝えられるよう、日々頑張ります！＊２０２０〜２０２４年に、レッスン料３００回分をMalalaFundに寄付をしました。レッスンをご受講いただき、本当にありがとうございます！

Che tipo di insegnante sono

I have been teaching Japanese professionally for over 4 years. I completed the Japanese education course online. I specialise in 1:1 classes and I have significant experience teaching intermediate students. I will work with pre-intermediate students who only speak everyday conversation and develop their range so that they can speak on different topics such as social problems, science and art. My classes will be fun and relaxing and also focus on your progress. I believe in students studying proactively, not me telling students what to do. I am a facilitator rather than an instructor and I guide you in my classes while you work it out for yourself.

If it is possible, I recommend using a textbook from my list and taking classes twice a week. The rate of improvement is quite different compared to once a week lessons! I give homework as much as you want and you can contact me on chat seven days a week at any time. So, don't leave the part you don't understand until the next lesson: ask me questions and accelerate your independent learning. りさ先生、そろそろ2年前からレッスンを受け始めましたので、ありがとうございました！私は新型コロナウイルスのロックダウン中にレッスンを始めて、それ以来続けています。りさ先生の私にぴったりで、分からないことを説明してて、文法や会話や説明など色々なことを間違っているところを指摘してくれています。JLPT勉強の頃にも、JLPT特有の科目を練習しているとき、すべての質問はいつでも答えられます。これからもよろしくお願いします！
