Hi, I'm Nicole! I'm a full-time English teacher from the USA. Many students study long-term with me, which you can see by comparing the total lessons taught to total students (averaging over 10 classes per student.)
Learning languages (Portuguese, Spanish and German) has opened up so many wonderful opportunities for me, and my hope is that it will do the same for my students. I was certified in TESL by the University of Minnesota in 2011, and I've taught adult learners in the US, Brazil, Spain, Germany, and the Czech Republic. When I'm not teaching, I love to be outside! I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and dancing.Che tipo di insegnante sono
My #1 goal is for you to speak as much as possible during our time together! Whether you are outgoing or shy, I can guarantee you that we won't run out of things to talk about - besides being a grammar nerd and pronunciation expert, I have the "superpower" of being able to keep up a conversation with absolutely anyone!
I provide immediate correction to students. Private classes are the best way for students to identify their recurring mistakes and to get personalized help on the areas that they find difficult or confusing. Sometimes, a gentle reminder is enough, and other times, we will work more thoroughly on a specific pronunciation or grammar point.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I like to keep classes light-hearted and fun!
I keep a Google Drive folder for each student for notes and (optional) homework and share the link with the student after our first class. For those who want to practice listening skills and build vocabulary, I create assignments using Ted Talks and videos from YouTube. In the next class, we talk about their answers to the comprehension questions, practice the vocabulary in focus, and discuss the related topic.
I usually don't focus too much on grammar in class, but I do send online exercises to students who want extra practice on a certain point.Il mio materiale didattico

Nicole is a fantastic teacher. She's friendly, knowledgeable, dedicated and very professional. The feedback she's provided has been extremely useful for me to improve my speaking and writing skills. The material she's prepared for our lessons (videos, questions, homework, etc.) has been both engaging and effective. I can't recommend her enough.

Nicole is a great teacher. She is friendly and tactful. She has a selection of interesting videos on various topics of human existence, which are then discussed in class. This allows you to not only improve your English, but also enrich your knowledge of the world around you.

I have been studying English with Nicole for a long time and I want to leave an extremely positive review.
All your mistakes during the conversation will not go unnoticed. Homework will inspire you and you will learn a lot of new and interesting things, which also cannot but motivate.

This was the first class, and I liked it a lot because, even without knowing how to speak or translate, I was able to complete some of the activities given. Nicole is very patient and explains very well, using practical and easy-to-understand examples. I'm looking forward to the next classes.
