Ornit

I have studied with Ornit for more than two years and as a result of her expert teaching skills, I have learned enough to easily communicate in Hebrew while in Israel. I highly recommend Ornit.

Ornit's lessons are fun and well-organized. The lessons are customized to your needs and goals. She adjusts the lessons as you go along to keep pace with your rate of progress and keep you challenged all the way. My advice is to book your lessons early as her slots run out fast!

Just had another great lesson with Ornit. She's a great tutor - very friendly and genuinely cares about my progress, and also skilled at helping me get my language to the next level. She always prepares in advance for our sessions and has materials ready to go, but at the same time she is completely flexible if our lesson takes us in another direction. I'm very happy to have found her!

I've been studying with Ornit for over four years. That really says it all. But let me be a little specific. Ornit makes careful use of the entire lesson time. Not a minute goes by when I'm not learning something new. She has a very elegant way of correcting you when you've made a mistake and thereby keeps you very motivated. Ornit has a unique way of keeping your learning on track yet still making it fun. I look forward to my lesson each week and it has actually become the highlight of my weekly schedule. From the beginning of my studies Ornit has made a point of understanding my goals and what I want to accomplish. And it's as if I awakened one day after four years and found that I have accomplished so much under her guidance and teaching. Ornit is not just a talented teacher but a very smart individual, so you can easily incorporate interesting topics into your learning program. In short, I recommend Ornit without reservation.

Things I found pleasing and reassuring were friendliness, interest in my reasons to study the language and patience in explaining the technology. I really liked the teacher's introduction video and was looking for signs confirming my intuition in choosing her. However, the meet and greet talk took most of the time, then we had glitches with the spreadsheet sharing so the actual teaching demo took 3 minutes out or 30 I paid for. And the ending was really sudden. She just said goodbuy in mid sentence and logged off!
