My name is Peter and I live in England, United Kingdom. I specialise in business English and interview preparation. I have over 35 years' international management experience. I have helped many students gain confidence for interviews in English. I have a Master's degree, a French Diplôme d'Ingénieur and a Cambridge CELTA for teaching English.I'm a native English speaker with a British accent. My home is in Bath, a beautiful Roman city in the South-West of the UK whose history goes back over 2000 years. I'm passionate about languages and business speak French fluently and some German and Italian. I love sport: tennis, football, cycling and hiking in mountainous areas.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I'm different from most teachers. I've spent 35 years in business, at all levels. I've interviewed, trained and developed hundreds of staff. Also, I'm a language learner myself. I've taken the same journey as my students, so I know the challenges! I apply all of this experience to my teaching. I learnt in the CELTA course to carefully stage lessons to suit my students' levels and abilities. I love to elicit answers from students by asking relevant questions, so my classes are stretching, yet carefully paced. I'm aware that learning English can be life-changing for many students and I approach each lesson professionally. I use the world-leading teaching platform Off2Class. I ask all new students to take a placement test. This highlights your areas for development, so your lesson time is spent efficiently, and I design a study plan to suit your needs. For example, during the last year I have taught a sales manager in Italy who has moved from B1 to C1 level. This has helped him win new business. I have coached a finance director in Moscow to become more confident in presentations and meetings in English. I also helped a young engineer in Tokyo to get a top job with a UK real estate company. My style is professional, yet friendly and fun and students gain confidence and fluency.Il mio materiale didattico

Great first lesson with Peter, he has got a fantastic website that seems covers all levels and needs, in addition to that he sent me a test and we have had a very productive discussion about my needs and goals. Looking forward our next lesson.

I have taken Peter’s lessons for a while. He is an excellent teacher and is very gentle and humorous. Which means he creates a joyful environment for learning. In my opinion, that is not always an easy thing everyone can achieve. Also, his lessons are very structured, engaging and interesting. More than that, you can expect insights of business world from Peter and have a great discussion as well. You can count on him. Thank you, Peter.
