My name is Lisbeth, I am from Chile. My favorite topics are travelling, languages and culture, but I am also very interested in physical and mental health, so in my free time I like to learn about alternative therapies, nutrition and prevention of diseases. I am a teacher of English as a second language and I have a degree in Education in the Pontificia Universidad de Valparaiso. I have 6 years of experience and 5 years teaching Spanish as a second language. In my experience as a teacher and learner of a second language, I think it is very important to feel the need to use the language in real life, so I like to focus on tasks that can be useful in a specific context. Lisbeth is an excellent teacher who has helped me feel more comfortable speaking Spanish. She is easy going and has been very helpful with teaching conjunctions, grammar, and vocabulary. Highly recommend to those who enjoy learning!

I really enjoyed my session with Lisbeth. We spent time in informal discussion about our vacations, our activities and current events. A very good opportunity to test my conversational Spanish. Next, we review my homework, a BBC video in Spanish on different theories regarding the source of petroleum deposits on our planet. Lisbeth assigned a series of questions to be answered as well as some vocabulary to practice. All very positive toward developing my abilities in Spanish.
