Hi. My name is Samah. I am an Arabic teacher, teaching Modern Standard Arabic and Egyptian Arabic. I love to teach. When I teach that is fun time for me, I do not consider it only as work. My hobbies are: I love to go to the club, I like to walk, drink coffee ,talk with my sister, listen to music, swim in the sea, read, and I love to cook Egyptian food. And I love to spend fun time with my children I love to help people as counsellor, listen to them and help them. I have a degree as a counsellor.

Che tipo di insegnante sono

I graduated at the American University in Cairo as an Arabic teacher for foreigners. I have 17 years experience. I teach all levels and all ages. I am happy to teach different personalities, when students are excited to learn, or not so patient, or diligent, or with any attitude I am happy to help. I never give up on a person. I love to develop myself, and always learn new things. I love to take courses. For me I am open to teach groups or individuals. I took my studies at the American University. During that time I learned many new skills, such as how to work as a teacher in a big group, or private, how to use icebreaking excercises, how do I use my voice tone in lessons.

Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento

I use different materials in my lessons, such as listening, books, stories, sheets, exams, games, songs, cards, videos. I like to teach practically, for example go to supermarket, go to the market, visit church or museum.... I can teach the Holy Bible (the Old Testament and the New Testament) or worship songs as well. I can teach all different levels: beginners, and intermediate and advanced.

Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language - American University Cairo - 2015In the American University of Cairo I graduated as Arabic Teacher as second language. I learned from different professors from different countries and took many exams . I did many homeworks and group excercises and team works. That time in the University was very useful for me. I learned many new skills, such as how to teach in front of many people, icebreaking excercises, how to communicate well with students, how to make the students understand our language, even with body language too.
