Hi everyone! My name is Scott and I'm from Lancashire in the North West of England. 4 years ago I moved to Tuscany, Italy, where I have been working as an English teacher to students of all ages.
I graduated in Medical Physiology and Therapeutics at the University of Nottingham and then obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Sciences. Currently, I'm studying for my MA in Language and Mind: Philosophy and Cognitive Studies.

After becoming a certified English teacher, I began teaching students of all ages and backgrounds. Given my professional and academic history, I often provide more specific lessons, such as:
Medical and Scientific English
Business and Marketing English,
Academic English
Cambridge and IELTS exam preparations
Preparation for job interviews
General conversation skills

I've been practicing my speaking English with Scott for a half of the year. It's always so nice to have a conversation on various topics, from your daily routine to specific ones like politics, literature and arts. I was intentioned to break the feeling of shyness and be bold in my speaking at the first place and I can state firmly that now I feel way more confident while talking in English than it was 6 months ago. Scott's approach to lessons is to make you feel comfortable enough to talk freely by directing the conversational subjects and explaining complex things in a simple way. Highly recommended if you need to develop your speaking abilities and your knowledge about tons of themes you'd like to discuss in English with foreigners.
