My name is Gabriela, I'm Colombian but I grew up in Italy. After finishing high school I moved to London and then to Paris. I'm currently living in London, I just finished my masters degree in Conference Interpreting in Spanish and English and before I did my undergraduate degree in Translation in English and French. During my spare time I love reading and travelling. Languages are my passion, this is why I like to meet new people from different countries, to learn more about their cultures, practice and learn more languages. Speaking is a great way too improve and keep practicing a language, it's even better if the topics are interesting. During the classes we can talk about anything you want, it is important that you feel motivated and enjoy the lesson.5.0

Gabriela is a very proficient polyglot, and a great conversation partner. Her nonverbal feedback is very useful, it reassures me when I'm doubting myself. Having studied multiple languages, I can attest that she has a high degree of proficiency in each language that she teaches. It's quite motivating to see what she's accomplished at such a young age!

Gabriela was my first teacher on italki and I had a wonderful experience! She worked with me and corrected me as needed and helped me with vocabulary when I was losing my words. I also appreciated that she put words in the chat box so I was able to take notes to practice. She was very warm and comfortable to spend a lesson with, I highly recommend!

Our first class went smoothly and I enjoyed it a lot. I picked Gabriela specifically because she can help me refine my Spanish and if I don't understand anything, she can explain in English, so it's more time-effective. Definitely recommend, especially if you're an interpreter searching for like-minded professionals to broaden your language combinations.

Thanks to Gabi ( Gabriela) I have gained confidence in Spanish! Now working on regaining my confidence in French with her! One day I may learn Italian with her as well but not today 😄✌🏽
