Panos has consistently demonstrated qualities that make him an outstanding teacher. One of the nicest aspects of Panos’ teaching style is his incredible patience. Learning a new language can be daunting, but he creates a supportive environment where the learner feels comfortable making mistakes & asking questions. His calm demeanor & willingness to explain concepts multiple times ensure that every student can grasp the material at their own pace. He is very encouraging and celebrates our achievements, no matter how small, which motivates us to keep going. His ability to connect with students on a personal level creates a warm and inviting learning experience. Panos is very organized. Each lesson is thoughtfully planned. This not only helps students stay on track but also allows us to see our progress over time. I'm grateful for the chance to learn from him and believe that any student would be fortunate to have him as their teacher!

Another incredible lesson with Pano, our 60th together, I think, over 3 years. He is a truly exceptional teacher: kind, dedicated, supportive, and knowledgeable in all the mechanics of Greek and English, so he can explain the precise reason why you would use a certain tense or part of speech. He speaks in a clear, vivid, and enunciated way that is easy for a new language learner to understand, and with him, I've progressed from learning the basics of the language to writing more complex literary pieces in Greek. He's very open to the different goals and writing projects I propose, so I feel that our lessons accomplish exactly what I want at any given moment. And above and beyond all of this, Panos has been one of my first and closest friends in Greece and has helped to welcome me into this country.

Panos is a fantastic teacher!

I've studied Welsh and German online, with many different teachers. I have also been involved in professional evaluation of specialist English teachers. After half a dozen plus Greek lesson with Panos, I have no hesitation in saying that he is right at the top of the game. His lessons are well prepared, structured yet flexible, and geared towards the individual's needs. In each lesson there are plenty of opportunities for review and reinforcement of key points, all done with patience and good humour. In addition, he uses Quizlet to encourage further independent reinforcement of key points. He's great!

Panos is a stellar Greek language teacher. He has made learning a difficult new language into an enjoyable experience. He takes the time to tailor lessons to my personal life. We discuss topics like my family, activities, and vacations using these as a way to build my vocabulary and practice conversations. He creates a shared spreadsheet with topics and vocabulary that he adds to at each lesson and that I can review any time. I’ve made steady progress from learning individual words and phrases to short dialogues. Panos has an easy-going manner that creates a relaxed atmosphere. I’m comfortable speaking Greek without fear of making mistakes. He is always encouraging and supportive. For English-speaking students, it's worth noting that Panos has an excellent command of English, which makes sharing experiences and learning Greek easier. Overall, Panos has created a learning environment that is both productive and enjoyable. You won’t find a better Greek teacher. Panos is the best.
