Hi everyone, I am Paola, I am 26 years old and I am an university student. I have a bachelor’s degree in education and I am close to obtaining a master’s degree in human resources development. So, psychology, pedaogia and education are the disciplines that I always studied. I like animals, I like reading books, go to the gym and I love so much to travel and get to know different cultures. During my travels I was lucky because I always met people who helped me to learn their language with patience and dedication, so for this reason I would like to help anyone who wants to learn Italian. Personally, I believe in the effectiveness of informal learning, which is why I mainly focus on colloquial speech, common expressions, idioms, trying to establish a relationship as equal as possible to learn from each other through the process of knowledge.
I like to listen just as I have no trouble telling and sharing my personal ideas and experiences.

My approach to teaching is very friendly and flexible, suitable for lessons based on the needs of the student; for this reason the first lesson will be of pure conversation to establish his level of Italian while, from the second, You will face exercises/ topics adapted to your needs and interests, decided mainly by him and suggested by me based on my observations.
The didactic methodology will be varied, from the exercises of conversation to the writing and reading, in order to improve in all the aspects of the knowledge of a language.

After talking to many teachers on Italki, I have come to the conclusion that Paola is the only person who is able to improve the student's skills enormously in a very short time. Moreover, her positive charisma and her loving energy are a blessing for the soul.

Paola is very patient and kind!! I had a wonderful first lesson. She helped me with grammar, speaking, and pronunciation. She also sent me the pdf documents so I can review at home. I’m already booked for my second and third lesson because I believe she’ll be the best teacher for me. Grazie Paola, a presto!!

Paola is a wonderful teacher! She challenges me, yet keeps the lessons comfortable and casual so that I can make mistakes without feeling too overwhelmed. She helps me and encourages me to speak as much Italian as I am able, and she includes the correct words or phrases as we go along in the conversation (she also types the words/phrases in the chat box so that I can see them, which is great). I always leave the lessons feeling empowered and with a clear goal for the upcoming week.
