Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Mona and I’m a language teacher with over 12 years experience teaching Mandarin Chinese.
Before I became a professional Chinese teacher, I was a language learner, and now can speak fluent Japanese and some English as well. This means I understand your efforts and can help you master the Chinese language. I speak standard Mandarin Chinese and have a passion for teaching. I am also interested in different cultures.

I have taught students of a range of nationalities and ages from 4 years old to 70. I am able to adjust my teaching style according to my students. I ensure that my lessons are effective interesting, and accessible.

I provide materials, including textbooks, videos, and interactive online tools. We will practice listening, speaking, reading and writing and I can explain grammar questions. My students say that I am very friendly and patient.

Mona is a great teacher. She is organised and at the same time very flexible. She provides good material for self-study writing. And we practice reading and speaking during our lessons. She explains grammar very well. I feel supported and encouraged. And I notice my progress.

Mona puts a lot of effort into teaching every time! Each class, she assigns homework to my child and helps him correct his mistakes. She always responds quickly. Also, Mona introduced online links of Chinese stories and practice books, which are really very useful. They help my child accelerate his learning progress. I highly recommend this teacher, Mona! 👍🌷
