My name is Debora, I am a certified English and French teacher from Switzerland. My job is my passion! I loooooove teaching and helping others improve their French. I love learning languages myself, I also speak English, German, a bit of Swiss German, Turkish and I am learning Persian.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I graduated with the CELTA certificate to teach English and the DAEFLE certificate to teach French. I give face to face and online lessons to students of any background and level. I also work with the Red Cross and help refugees learning French. I love learning new languages myself, which I believe helps me a lot to know the good and "not so good" techniques to learn a language. I always try to adapt to my students' personal and natural way of learning. Maybe they are visual, or maybe they need to hear, say and repeat, or maybe they love games, or stories ! We all have a different way of learning and once we find it, the process is much more efficient and fun!
I believe it is important to understand the way a language works but active learning is even more important. I try to let my students talk and participate as much as possible. It's about them being able to speak French, not me!
I am enthusiastic, kind and encouraging. My objective is to make my students feel comfortable and reach their goals!Il mio materiale didattico

DAEFLE - Alliance française de Paris - 2020J'ai effectué les cours à distance pendant environ 9 mois pour obtenir le DAEFLE. L'enseignement était très théorique mais très complet. Le côté grandement pratique de mon autre formation, le CELTA, ainsi que mes débuts dans l'enseignement, ont mis en relief toute cette théorie qui a soudain fait sens. Comme module à choix, j'ai choisi celui du FLE pour les enfants, aimant beaucoup enseigner les enfants et ayant un très bon feeling avec eux.

CELTA - International Teacher Training Center, Bournemouth - 2019Ma formation pour obtenir le CELTA était courte mais très intensive. Dès le deuxième jour, j'enseignais une classe de 7 élèves pendant 45 minutes. J'ai donné plusieurs leçons, chacune examinée et notée par mon tuteur. Nous avons également dû remettre 4 travaux écrits. J'y ai appris comment construire un cours de la manière la plus logique et efficace qui soit, comment expliquer des règles de grammaires ou autres de manière pertinente et sans métalangage, comment corriger, tester, etc.

I have now had a series of more than 20 sessions with Débora in preparation for my FIDE exam and to improve my general spoken French. It is the most progress I have made on my French learning in 10 years of trying various other methods, The lessons are fun and I have more and more confidence to speak French every day, Thanks Débora, I can't recommend you highly enough.
