My name is Sherry, as a native speaker who comes from the Guangdong province of China. I am fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. I majored in Chinese Language and Literature in college, so I am well-versed in the Chinese language, literature and culture. If you are interested in Chinese pop music, modern and contemporary literature, movies, entertainment stars, and pop culture, I would love to chat with you! I hold the Chinese Teacher Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education of China, the Certificate for Teacher of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(CTCSOL) from the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, and Mandarin Proficiency Certificate.
I have two year of experience in teaching Chinese in an educational institution. I currently offer Mandarin course for both children and adults. For children, the courses include basic Mandarin conversation, Pinyin. In the beginner's class, I will use English as medium language, so don't worry about communication issues.
