I have completed a trial course with Teacher Thomas. I had a good experience. Teacher Thomas was knowledgeable in the material and was organized. The trial lesson was easy to follow. Thomas is a patient and knowledgeable Burmese teacher who is also fluent in many other languages such as Chinese, English, Russian, and German. His knowledge of Burmese is very thorough and he can provide the cultural and historical context behind grammar and vocabulary. He answers every single question I ask and explains hard-to-understand concepts well, using a combination of materials and internet resources. He also takes notes for each lesson and provides the lesson materials in PDF formats so that I can review them offline. I highly recommend Thomas to anyone who is trying to learning to read and speak Burmese.
