Bonjour! Originally from New Caledonia, I am 29 years old, and I have lived abroad for the last ten years, in Europe, Australia, Vietnam and Georgia. That's why I know and understand how hard it can be to learn a new language! I'm a philosophy student, and I also work as an event manager, sound engineer and music producer. That has improved my communication skills in a variety of languages. I'm also a multi-instrumentalist musician, a sound designer and an audio producer, as well as a graphic designer, 3D animator & digital illustrator.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I’ve been an English and French tutor for 5 years, teaching young kids introduction to the language, teenagers, helping them to strengthen their skills, as well as adults who want to improve their vocabulary or pronunciation. I am patient, interested, motivated and passionate, and I am happy to be part of someone's journey in learning a new language. My lessons are mainly focused on conversational language, specifically asking my students to choose subjects they’re interested in rather than imposing a curriculum that they wouldn’t feel connected to.
I think this approach benefits the student by giving them control of what they want to improve on, while having fun. I also offer a variety of material to work more in depth on the french language, as well as exercises and homework if requested. I specialize in teaching from A2 to C2 level, but I do not at the moment tutor complete beginners to the language.Il mio materiale didattico

Super séance de conversation avec Jules. Il est à la fois rassurant et très professionel, et donne d'excellents conseils. Son approche est décontractée et naturelle, c'est très agréable pour prendre confiance en soi à l'oral. Je recommande vivement!

I really enjoy my chats with Jules -- perfect conversation practice with a very patient teacher, which is helpful given that for now I can really only pick out every second or third word! But Jules goes out of his way to explain words, concepts, idiosyncrasies of the language. Thanks so much, looking forward to the next one!

Jules is a great teacher. He is really focused on the student. He had some interesting subject to discuss for each lesson, helping finding right words if needed, + creating very calm atmosphere during the lesson.

An excellent teacher of French, be it through a conversational class or a more comprehensive grammar course. I would recommend Jules for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners alike!

Jules is an excellent prof. He's reliable, always on time with always a new topic to discuss. His calm demeanor helps you to find the right French expression. Each lesson flies by quickly.
