SPM High School Leavers' Examination - Ministry of Education, Malaysia - 2014I passed English, Malay and Mandarin Chinese native level exams with flying colours. I was top of the class and form in English for the majority of my time during my upper secondary years. I was also part of the school debate team.
1119 English - University of Cambridge - 2014I got the highest grade in this native speaker/user level English examination. The exam was taken in Malaysia and our answers were sent to Cambridge, UK for grading.

TeacherI taught schoolchildren, aged 6-18, English, Malay and Mandarin Chinese using the Malaysian and International syllabus (e.g. IGCSE). My students included both native and second language students. I helped them grasp language concepts, learn vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking, so that they could both pass their exams with flying colours (= get good grades) and be able to converse freely in the target language.

Laurea triennale - Law👩🎓👩⚖️ I read Law in the UK. Some of the areas of law I studied include Common Law Reasoning, Company Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, Equity & Trusts, EU Law, Evidence Law, IP Law, Jurisprudence, Land Law, Law of Tort, Legal Systems & Methods, Public Law, Animal Law, Family Law, International Law and Internet Law & Regulation. All academic classes were conducted in English.
We had some modules in Malay too.
I also took German classes for a year, passing the A2+ level exam.
2022 - 2023
Laurea triennale - Advanced TESOL (English teaching certificate)150-Hour Advanced Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate.
Modules include pedagogy, classroom management, how to teach, continuous improvement and online teaching.
We learned how to teach English grammar, English vocabulary, English pronunciation, reading skills, listening skills, writing skills, speaking skills, and how to create learning aims and lesson plans.

After all these lessons with Kai, I have grown in several ways. Firstly, I am not afraid of speaking and writing anymore, especially writing. It helps me with my Chinese writing too. Now, I feel less pressure when I write, whether in English or in Chinese. I like to listen to podcasts and I can listen to most of the contents of different podcasts without subtitles or transcripts. I am also able to express myself better. When I write, I need to think, which helps me speak and write more logically. That is a hidden advantage of writing.

I highly recommend booking a class with Teacher Kai! I think it’s important to genuinely enjoy what you learn in order to progress and to also have a safe space to experiment and try out new vocabulary or grammar structures. Teacher Kai gives me this opportunity through what she has aptly named our “restful learning” sessions.

It’s a good experience.Kai is friendly and professional.Before the class,I was a bit nervous.But among the class,everything is perfect and I actually learned a lot.What impressed me most is that she help with a good structure for your grammar and so on.Recommend for people preparing for Ielts.

I’m so glad I found Teacher Kai! She is not only knowledgeable but also super friendly and patient. Her classes are always fun and easy to follow. She explains grammar and vocabulary in simple ways, using examples from daily life. Even when I make mistakes, she never gets annoyed. Instead, she corrects me gently and encourages me to try again.
What I love most is her teaching style. She mixes textbooks with life story, and real conversations, so I never feel bored. Every lesson feels like chatting with a friend, not just memorizing rules. She also gives me extra materials to practice after class and checks my progress weekly.
Teacher Kai truly cares about her students. She listens to my needs and adjusts her methods to help me improve faster. Thanks to her, my English has become more fluent and confident in just a few months.
