Hello! My name is Gin and I am an Italian native speaker who would love to help you feel more confident with your Italian language skills!
I just came back from Hanoi where I was doing a double degree in teaching Italian as second language. It was an amazing experience, I thought many classes of Italian and had lots of fun.Che tipo di insegnante sono
Having studied foreign languages myself I know it can be difficult sometimes, so I am a very patient and understanding teacher.
I cheer my students all the time, and I am very happy when I see they make progresses.
I also strongly believe learning foreign languages has to be a customised and enjoyable experience, this is the reason why I adapt my lessons to my students' needs and strongly encourage the use of spoken Italian even at a lower levels.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I believe fun is key, because if you're not having fun while learning a new language it is very probable you won't continue studying it.
My lessons are informative but enjoyable at the same time, I mainly use the books of "Nuovo Espresso" that have engaging activities.
My lessons are a safe environment where mistakes have to be made in order to learn.
In fact my teaching style guides my students to figure out Italian rules by themselves. This will help them understand Italian rules better and remember them for a longe timer.Il mio materiale didattico

I have loved working with Gin over the last year! My Italian has improved a great deal and I am feeling more confident than I ever have with speaking. Gin is encouraging, kind, and flexible! She encourages me to talk about whatever interests me. Cannot recommend Gin enough - lei è la migliore insegnanta!

Gin is an incredible teacher!! I call her weekly to chat in Italian and practice conversation skills.
I love chatting with Gin, she makes learning and practicing Italian so easy and enjoyable. She is very encouraging and patient and finds a perfect balance between letting me correct myself and helping me correct my mistakes :)!
I highly recommend Gin as a teacher 😊
