Olá! Hi!
My name is Manuel and I am from Portugal.
I'm an experienced PLE teacher (PLE - Português como Língua Estrangeira - Portuguese as a Foreign Language)
I have a Bachelors Degree in "Fundamentals and Methodologies of Education" and more than 15 years of experience in the educational field.

My students often say that I am patient, friendly and at the same time always focused on helping the student to improve.
I adapt the lessons and teaching methods according to the learning style, goals and needs of each student.
I take my job very seriously, so I do my best to help each student make significant progress.

We are going to work on the 4 skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
All the lessons will have a focus on your speaking skills to help you improve your fluency and confidence.

I love my lessons with Manuel. He always gauges the material perfectly and I know that he does a lot of preparation for my lessons (all lessons I’m sure). Session to review tpc gramatica unidade 20. Discussion about all the different tenses covered so far, construction of sentences in all tenses covered so far and introduction of PMQPC unidade 21 and unidade 22 pretérito perfeito composto do indicativo.
Quite a complex session but very well facilitated by Manuel.

Today's lesson was to review TPC and answer questions from my home studying.
We went through a 200 word essay I wrote , read it through and made some corrections and discussed the different tenses in the essay.
In my home study I found another tense imperfeito com valor de condicional. We went through examples and made some new sentences.
It was an interesting lesson and we spoke about the differences between English and Portuguese language and how English may seem straightforward but it is complex.
Manuel is an excellent tutor and our discussions are more and more complex as we dive further into Portuguese.
