Hi there! My name is Simon, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I'm passionate about world history, languages, cultures, traditions and spirituality, and hold a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and History with a minor in English from the University of Toronto. One of my favourite pastimes is learning languages, and as of right now I've achieved an advanced level in Spanish, and I'm working to improve my level in Portuguese, Hindi-Urdu, Arabic and French, although in the past I've also studied some Russian and German. As an avid language learner, I know perfectly well how scary and difficult learning a new language can seem, so my goal is that you feel as comfortable as possible when speaking English. Rest assured that our classes will be very relaxed and informal, so that you can learn, practice and build confidence when speaking without any kind of pressure. I'm very patient, and love to meet new people and learn about different subjects, so I'm sure we'll always have something to talk about!Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Classes with me are conversation-based, my intention is that we have a natural, flowing conversation about topics that interest you. My goal is that you'll feel more confident and even come to enjoy speaking in English. If you don't know how to say something, don't worry! I always write in the chat every word and phrase that you don't know or have trouble with during the lesson so that you can review them later. We will generally speak in English the entire time during lessons, however I am able to speak in Spanish and basic Portuguese, French and Hindi-Urdu if you need.
NOTE: Sadly, I don't have the right material or experience to teach children younger than 10, I hope you understand.Il mio materiale didattico

Simon has one of the most important components needed to teach a new language: he knows how to listen to you and turn a simple conversation into something useful and entertaining to improve your speaking. He's young but seems like he has a lot of experience.

Simon is one of the best tutors I've ever met, he's knowledgeable, motivating, fun to talk to, and overall an engaging person. every lesson with him has been fun and enjoyable and I recommend him overall as a great teacher especially if you are interested in linguistics/phonology or if you're a language lover in general. He is absolutely an amazing tutor
