Hello!
I'm Patrick, from a town called Reading, near London. I live in Vietnam, where I have taught English since 2017, and have been teaching online since 2020. Being from the south-east of England, my accent is the most common, and often considered the easiest to understand in Britain (sometimes referred to as "BBC English").
My hobbies include football, films, guitar, and travel, but I generally find it easy to talk to people regardless of shared interests. I also learned some Russian a while ago and plan to resume soon.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have seven years' experience teaching English to students of all ages and all abilities. I have taught children as young as three, using simple games and flashcards, helped advanced students to prepare for the IELTS exam, and pretty much everything in between!
Rather than interrupting, I prefer to correct mistakes by taking notes as you speak, giving you a chance to self-correct when you have finished talking.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
We will do a range of activities, in which you will speak a lot, and be introduced to new vocabulary and phrases along the way. While the atmosphere is relaxed, classes are not just be conversation practice - there is always a plan.Il mio materiale didattico

My kid definitely enjoyed his time with Patrick, who is very kind and patient. The lesson went on smoothly with my kid answering various questions from Patrick, and ended with an engaging word game. My kid is a bit shy and Patrick tried very hard to encourage him to speak. Notes have also been sent after class for us to review the useful expressions we've learned during the lesson. Thanks a lot!

Patrick is really supportive teacher, who puts a lot of effort into his lessons. He is patient and he can clearly explain to me every word or phrase. Every time it was very pleasant conversation about different topic. It is helping me to build my confidence while speaking English. I'm learning a lot of new words and phrases on every lesson. I can only recommend Patrick to you!

Very nice lesson as always. My son enjoys it very much. Patrick encourages him to talk a lot and considers topics he needs for school.
