Hello! My name is Stanislav, Stan for short. I am a 49-year-old male from Bosnia, married for over 2 decades and counting, war veteran, Bachelor of Science from Toronto U, speaking English for well over 30 years now. I am passionate about cats & dogs, gaming, music, movies, and anime. I love reading, and learning new things - I am a computer engineer by trade, but I got a welder's license as well, and have worked as an archivist for few years in addition to my military background so you can see I have a wide spectrum of interests :)Che tipo di insegnante sono

I am a patient and kind type (so my students tell me!) - my greatest joy is when students actually ASK me questions (that means that they are awake, as well :P ). I enjoy interacting with people, and interactive style suits me best, but of course, I can be "old school" and stick to the book, if that is what is required!

Stan is a unique teacher; he is both charismatic and funny. He has shown me how much fun learning languages can be. Thanks to him, I have discovered a new interest in reading books, which allows me to improve my reading skills outside the classroom.

After more than 20 lessons with Stan, I can say that he is a wonderful teacher, professional, and dedicated to helping his students progress. He is very open-minded and always ready to talk about various topics. He has a great sense of communication and easily steers the discussion to create "teachable moments."

It's a great pleasure to recommend Stan like a teacher. He has a lot of experiences teaching online to people with difference level of English. I'm impressive with him because he has a wide range of interest and can discuss a variety of topic, he has a strong sense of responsability and commitment to student success, he is also able to give good advice.
