Cleide Brandao

Cleide is one of the best language teachers I have ever had! She is so much fun to talk to and always keeps the conversation moving. She is an excellent teacher and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to learn the beautiful language of Portuguese!

I had a wonderful class with Cleide! She arrived with prepared materials, but when she realized that my portuguese was a little more advanced, she changed to do an activity that would help me more. She's also very nice, she gives tips to speak more naturally, and she has good conversation. Tive uma aula maravilhosa com a Cleide. Ela chegou na aula com o material preparado mas quando ela percebeu que eu tive um nível de portugues um pouca mais avançada, ela mudou para fazer outra atividade que me ajudaria mais. Também, ela é muita simpática, dá dicas para falar mais naturalmente, e tem boa conversaçao.

It was such a great lesson! we talked about goals for the next year and read an article about this topic. I really like the friendly atmosphere on our lessons and that Cleide adjusts to my level so I can perfectly understand her even tho I'm still a beginner. I don't speak that well myself and I lack active vocabulary, but I can always ask her about the translation of some missing word from English to Portuguese:-) Overall, Cleide is a very nice and patient teacher!

Cleide is an amazing teacher! I understood her perfectly well, although I'm still pretty much a beginner. The class was based on conversation, but we also covered grammar a bit and practiced it right on the lesson. She spoke clearly and slowly and answered some of my questions about Portuguese. I fully recommend her if you want to improve your Portuguese and get the feeling that you can actually speak it:D Will definitely book more lessons and keep getting better:)

Cleide is amazing! Very patient and meets me where I am. I also appreciate learning with her because she is fluent in Spanish and that helps me significantly to make sense of the language. Cleide e uma instrutora massa!
