FORMER IELTS SPEAKING EXAMINER
Hello! My name is Patrick.
I'm a Professional Teacher and Former IELTS examiner with over 15 years of teaching experience in both IELTS and General English.
I am originally from the United States but I currently live & teach in Vietnam. I have lived here for 8 years now but eventually I would love to live in Costa Rica. I have 3 cats!

I will listen to you so I can understand what your goals are how achieving these goals will change your life. You will learn step by step how to start working towards those goals quickly and effectively.
Every lesson is about you. Together we will improve the skills you need help with most. It will be easy to practice at home with my detailed instructions you receive after class.
You will learn how to build positive study habits.. These will be easy to follow, and more importantly, easy to do at home.

Patrick is exceptional in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of his students and helping them develop effective strategies to answer IELTS speaking and writing questions properly. His pragmatic approach has proven extremely successful: I boosted my writing score from 7.5 to 8.5 by following his advice - far exceeding my expectations. Be prepared to have your misconceptions about achieving high band scores challenged - as an experienced former IELTS examiner, his suggestions sound simple but are exceedingly powerful. I am so fortunate to have had him as my coach during my IELTS preparation journey.

Patrick is the most outstanding teacher I’ve ever had. I honestly believe it’s impossible not to pass your exams if you study with Patrick.
