Later on when I was traveling abroad, I always encountered people who were interested in learning Chinese. Since last year I started to have more online teaching lessons, which were focused on practicing speaking ability. I’ve also completed an off-line Chinese teacher training program, which was more based on organising lessons according to the HSK books. My preferable age of leaners is 16+.

About me: I´m passionate about 2nd language acquisition. I speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English fluently. I’ve also learned Spanish. My interests include health, personal finance, and travelling ... I like to learn languages by exposing myself to the target culture as much as I can. Sometimes it can get quite scary and stressful... but it's still my favourite way to acquire a language and culture. I also enjoy jogging, biking, and hiking. They help me to feel relaxed.

As a long-time English learner from a kid and a German learner for the recent one year, I know how difficult it is to learn a new language, especially in a different language system compared with the mother tone. I have some friends who are learning Chinese and I sometimes help them with their questions about the language. From this experience, I understand Chinese can be very confusing and easy to make mistakes sometimes. I used to give physics tutor lessons to high school students.
