Learn Italian with a PhD Teacher |Polyglot (incl. Turkish speaker) Hi! I’m Francesco — a certified teacher of Italian as a foreign language (Università per Stranieri di Siena), polyglot and PhD in philosophy. I’ve taught students from all over the world, combining language learning with cultural depth and human connection. I speak 7 languages, including Turkish, and I work as an intercultural mediator. I’m not just a teacher — I’m an intercultural mediator. I’ve lived in many countries and speak seven languages, seeing them as bridges that open cultural and human horizons. I am Angela, I've been teaching Italian online for six years and hold a CEDILS certification from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. I earned a Master’s degree in Visual and Media Studies from Roma Tre University and spent several years abroad, an experience that deepened my passion for foreign languages and cultures. My teaching method was born from this journey, grounded in direct experience and active student engagement, aiming to develop practical communication skills that can be immediately applied in everyday life. I actively encourage the building of new skills through experience and involvement in real-life scenarios, appreciating the uniqueness of each student. My method is based on using diversified stimuli to facilitate the developing of fresh, rich and deep mental associations. After each lesson, I'll send a review to recap what we covered, with emerged key words that will be revisited in future lessons. I integrate grammar into real-life language situations, by immersing students in the language and providing them with many opportunities to use it in a more natural and intuitive way. While spontaneous conversation is a key component of language learning, it's not enough on its own. Therefore, I employ targeted prompts and create scenarios to challenge my students' knowledge, reinforcing their understanding of the italian language and culture. *Please note that I'm not currently offering classes for complete beginners*

I'm patient, approachable and proactive. My lessons are focused on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, but I give mainly importance to conversation because I think the more you speak the more you feel comfortable speaking. I also know that motivation is essential to learn a language, so I have my students choose their topics of interest and fix their goals. In this regard, I had the good fortune of taking part in a seminar held by Anthony Mollica creator of "Recreational Linguistics" a method to acquire linguistic and cultural skills through word games and lexical combinations.
