Hello, my name is Kristiina and I'm from Finland. As a lover of languages and different cultures, I'm here to help people from various backgrounds improve their Finnish.
I'm currently studying to become a Finnish as a foreign language teacher. Having studied multiple languages over the years (German, English, Swedish, Latin, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese), I can definitely empathise with the joys and sorrows of learning a new language. Therefore, my goal is to create an environment where people are not afraid to make mistakes and have fun.지도 경험
As a Community Tutor, I am approachable and easy to talk to. I like lessons where you learn a lot while also having fun. I'm currently studying to become a Finnish as a foreign language teacher. 내 강의 및 지도 스타일
We will practice Finnish in a relaxed environment.
Based on your wishes and skill level, we will look at Finnish texts and any relevant grammatical features, go through them together, and then practice them orally. I will support you by leading the conversation. We can also do role-play practice on real-life situations.
We can conduct the class entirely in Finnish, or in English and Finnish, depending on your skill level.
You are also free to bring your own material in case you have any questions about the Finnish language that you need help with.
Please note that I'm NOT a good fit for people looking to learn highly specialised vocabulary (e.g. healthcare sector).내 수업 자료

はじめてのレッスンでしたので、たくさんの質問を考えて下さっていて、聞き取れない場合にわかりやすいように、文章も用意してくれました。
（そのあとPDFで復習できるようにしてくれました）
Kristiinaのお話は私にはとても聞き取りやすく、明確で、話しやすかったです。拙い私のフィンランド語もわかろうとしてくれたので、30分はあっという間でした。

Kristiina is a great Finnish teacher. She has a lovely, warm personality and makes the lesson comfortable and engaging. She is well prepared and meticulous in the way she explains grammar and structure, which helped me understand things much faster. I really enjoyed learning with her 🙏🏻

Lessons with Kriistina are fun and flexible. I am able to work on my weaknesses and improve in the areas that are most important for me. Kriistina is patient and very helpful, which makes the learning environment stress-free and encouraging. I struggled with studying Finnish at university, because of my neurodiversity, but I was finally able to start speaking more freely during lessons with Kriistina. I strongly recommend her classes!

I took few lessons with Kristiina and I have never been disappointed! I really enjoy talking in Finnish with her, about lots of things. Sometimes I get to choose what I want to talk about and it is always a pleasure to talk with her. One hour goes fast!
