I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

13 years of teaching experience but it's always a new adventure I am a qualified teacher of Italian language and culture (first and second level Master degree)I am also an examiner for CELI, PLIDA and CILS exams.The best compliment I ever received from a student is: "Giulia you have big ears". It's really important to know what students like, what are the most challenging parts of the language for them, to predict their mistakes and help them learn from them. I have though to students coming from 51different countries, it's always a new challenge. Research shows that when you are happy and do fun things you learn quickly and effectively, it's true.
