My younger brother is an outgoing person. He can make friends easily, and he still keeps in touch with his friends who are from elementary school. My dad always worried about his romantic relationship because he wants him to have a girlfriend. My younger brother doesn't care about it. He really enjoys to have a friendship. He is an optimistic guy. He loves outdoor activities like River Tracing. He said he loves to stay in the nature like forest or river because that makes him feel calm. He likes to watch Korean romantic dramas and American films. He is also a big fan of Japanese animation 😂 He is a thoughtful guy who cares about my parents' health and he has an empathy. Although we don't have a lot of communication, I don't think he dislikes me. We don't have a common topics to talk so that's why I wish I can do some events with him like travel together.

This is an interesting topic to talk about. In my country, most couples like the tranditional wedding customs. Though different places have different wedding customs, they have something in common. When a pair of couples realize each other well and get ready to get married, they have to get the their permission from all of their parents first. Then the husband should go to the wife's home to have an engagement on a proper day with gifts and even a certain amount of money. The wife's parent's will return some gifts or money. During the engagement, parents from both sides decide the wedding date. After that, other thing can be easily. Decorating their new room, inviting friends and relatives, planning a honeymoon and etc... Compare to the ancient time , or even a few decades ago, wedding customs tend to be simply and interesting nowadays. Everyone just wants the couples to live happily forever. Only one things has never changed for thousands of years, it is that almost every wedding features the bright colour red which represents happiness. Everything in the wedding ceremony and room are red on the big day!

Hey Italki buddies! Would be grateful if sb could correct my IELTS Writing Task 2 response to the following question: In most developed countries shopping is not only about buying the goods you need, it is also perceived as entertainment. Is it a positive or negative development? Give your own opinion and examples based on your experience. An increasing number of people use shopping as a way to have fun instead of treating it seriously. In my opinion, this is a negative development, which comes at an astonishing environmental cost, and has a damaging effect on the family budget. One serious problem that can arise from people purchasing goods impulsively is that it exacerbates pollution. When people become victims of consumerism and buy clothing for fun, fashion industries are prompted to produce new goods. During the manufacturing process, the air becomes polluted because of carbon emissions. Moreover, waters are also affected. To illustrate that, research has proven that the majority of all materials used by fashion industries are made from plastic, which eventually ends up in the oceans. Another issue is that shopping as an entertainment can have side effects on the family budget. In other words, instead of planning each shopping trip and expenditures, people squander their money on items they do not even need. As a result of such irrational behaviour, they may lack finances for the necessary goods. My own situation is a perfect example of this. When I was a student, I used to stroll at malls with my friends because I considered it a great pastime. However, by lapse of time, I started to notice I was saving on food and did not have a proper diet. In conclusion, although it has become more popular for people to treat shopping as entertainment, it brings about too many issues for this to be considered a positive trend.
