Hey everyone, I'm here to learn and improve my French. I know english and have learned french on and off throughout school! I'm a beginner after taking years off from using it. If you're interested in being language partners I would love that! Maybe we can start a group chat and practice what we learn.

Cody is a brilliant student, very determined, and purposeful. He gave off such great vibes during our hour-long lesson and magnificently demonstrated to me his ability to speak French. I appreciate him for coming to me in order to get some tips and just to have a calm, collected, and relaxing conversation together! I’m happy I was able to give the most feedback I could for Cody to pinpoint the aspects of the language he needs to focus on. Other than that bravo, et merci mon ami! Ton français est génial, tu parles bien, tu es determiné, et n’arrête pas! 😁🔥

When using prepositions of reference and Manner I'm confused on how to explain when to use the "in" and "on" in a sentence like with in: MANNER: The child ran down the steps in tears. REFERENCE: In my opinion we need a referendum. They are happy in their marriage. How do i explain to someone why on wouldn't be used in any above or why in is used in those sentences? or with on: REFERENCE: He asked my opinion on the matter. CONDITION: We’ll hire him on your recommendation.

The phrase "For example" can it be used after the example? I always thought the phrase "For example" was supposed to be used before the example but sometimes I see it after the example? Like in this, "Executing pieces of an insertion order programmatically is a good idea as a means to secure coveted inventory in times of high demand -- like during the holidays or specific content windows, for example. " Can anyone explain why?
