I studied science and technology at the Leeuwenborgh institute In the Netherlands and my job was training new employers to get ready for their job. In Thailand I started to teach at the local primary school of my village. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to get my TEFL certificate and did additional courses for natural learning, specially for kindergarten kids. I have experience teaching at kindergarten, primary school and secondary school as well as in business English.

I believe that a student learns better and quicker if the teacher shows genuine interest in the student. 3. I am creative. I have been a musician all my life. I believe there are many different and alternative ways of learning a language rather than just doing exercises from a textbook.

Since secondary school, I have been tutoring students in Dutch, English and German. At the moment I also work as a tutor for criminal law, looking for a place to obtain a PhD. I can easily adapt to your (language) learning needs and style. I believe that you learn the most when you're enjoying what you're doing and having fun. My lessons are conversation based; I do not teach Dutch from scratch and I do not offer a structured A to Z course. I'd rather see myself as a coach on your language learning journey than as a teacher pur sang. After all, it's you who has to do the learning!
