[일상 생활에서의 단어들]
우리는 일상 생활에서 밥을 먹고, 양말을 신고, 텔레비전을 보거나, 커피를 마시며 누군가를 기다리는 일상은 특별한 계기가 없다면 주의 깊게 살피기 어렵다. 만약 일상을 구성하는 여러 낱말들이 때마다 하나씩 우리 앞에 놓이고, 그 낱말들로 각자 짧은 에세이를 쓰기로 한다면? 어쩌면 우리는 양말을 신으려다 문득 인간이 언제부터 양말을 신게 되었는지 궁금해지거나, 오래전 어느 날 허기진 내 앞에 정성껏 차린 밥상을 놓아준 누군가를 떠올리게 될지 모른다.일상의 사물이나 경험을 가리키는 낱말들을 받아든 사람들은 오늘의 내가 되기까지 통과해온 삶의 여러 순간과 오랜 시간 곁을 지켜준 소중한 존재들, 각기 다른 몸과 마음, 감각으로 경험한 세상의 모습을 글에 담을 수 있을 것이다. 사람들이 서로 다른 자리에서, 다른 시각으로 쓴 커피, 양말, 아침 이야기를 읽다 보면 사람들은 자연스럽게 자신의 커피, 양말, 아침 이야기를 생각하게 된다.

Luego de una encuesta realizada en las calles de España preguntando a la gente si es feliz, no hubo ni una sola persona cuya respuesta haya sido ‘no’. Si nos hubieran mentido, estaríamos hablando de 'happycracia', la tiranía de la felicidad. Estar obligados a ser felices y sentirnos culpables si no superamos las dificultades. Lo describen muy bien el psicólogo español Edgar Cabanas y la socióloga israelí Eva Illouz en el libro 'Happycracia': “hoy declarar que no eres feliz es vergonzoso, como si hubiéramos perdido el tiempo o hecho algo mal”.

"A city I really find extremely interesting is Venice, which I think has to be one of the most amazing, and fascinating cities in the world. Venice is located in… I think….the north of Italy, on the coast,and is one of the most popular tourist destinations… not just in Italy but anywhere in the world today.
 
Venice is known as the city of canals, but there are so many other things Venice is famous for including its beautiful bridges, gondola rides, historical buildings…. interesting old streets…..Oh! and also the Venice carnival, which looks like so much fun.
I remember I first learned about Venice back when I was in high school, and we studied the Shakespeare play “The merchant of Venice……. I can still remember my English teacher showing us a short video showing all the sites of Venice……… I remember thinking…..wow! This has to be one of the most amazing cities i’ve ever seen, and decided this was a place i must visit in the future.
Venice with all of its magnificent….. historical buildings, ancient bridges and water really seems like no other city in the world today. It almost looks like something from a movie set, and is really out of this world. It’s amazing to think that this is actually a real place that still remains and looks the same as it did hundreds of years ago. I think that's what really makes it so interesting, and  makes it stand out from other cities around the world today.
  I really think there are no other cities that can be compared to Venice, and it is truly a unique city, with more interesting and fascinating sites than you can shake a stick at"
