Hello, my name is Mirjam! :)
I am 26 years old, lived most of my life in Oslo, Norway, but now I am currently living in Canada. I love music, movies, food and fitness.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
Since I've had some experience learning a new language myself, I think the best way is exposure to the culture and the language is going to be your biggest help. This is where I would love to help you either take that initial step, or broaden your current knowledge of the language.Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
No matter where on your journey you are, I will do my very best to make it interesting and fun to learn. In my lessons I will go through textbook material and news articles with you, to help you understand the contents of them. Afterwards we will talk and discuss it, and every now and then maybe I'll assign some homework to help you further your learning. If you're a complete beginner I will help you get started, by helping you build your vocabulary and learning some useful phrases.
If it's your first time booking with me, I highly recommend booking a 30min lesson first. :)

I was very nervous about this lesson but Miriam was so calm and lovely! My goal is to improvise my spoken Norwegian and she spoke really clearly, making it easy for me to understand her. Looking forward to my next lesson!

Det var bra å snakke med Mirjam! Mirjam is fantastic at evaluating the student's level right from the start, modifying the lesson according to the student's exact needs. As a beginner with very limited Norwegian knowledge, I appreciate being able to have some speaking time, however she adapted her speech or switched to English when necessary. She also creates a calm and relaxing environment to develop vocabulary and make mistakes. If you're a beginner or farther in your learning journey, I strongly recommend Mirjam's lessons!
