In this class we will meet and you will understand a little of my teaching method. We can discuss  your goals and the best way to reach them.

I am Native Brazilian.  These lessons will give you a chance to practice conversations with a native Portuguese speaker. I'm happy to talk about a variety of subjects, answer any questions that you have and help to improve your knowledge of Portuguese. This is the perfect lesson if you want to brush up on your spoken English, prepare for an exam or just practice general conversation. We can take it as slow (or fast) as you like!
We will look at pronunciation, translation, common phrases and more.
Also if you have a document, letter, poem, piece of audio, play, television script that you want translated to or from Brazilian Portuguese, we can look at that too.

Reading Classes
We will study materials at your level and do comprehension tasks to help you to improve your reading.  Materials could include newspapers or magazine articles, book excerpts, songs, etc.

I will provide the materials for reading classes,  but you are more than welcome to provide yours as well.  I will test your general understanding of the materials, and we will also do deeper text analysis. 


WRITING
If you choose writing, I will assign writing tasks after having a live class to analyse the writing style we will be focusing on each time. You can complete the writing outside of class if you prefer.  Writing corrections will only be done during the lesson. Once we've analysed mistakes, we will then move straight on to another writing task. 

Over time, you will see your reading and writing skills grow.

Com atividades de conversação desde a primeira aula para que você desenvolva a fala e a escuta, utilizo temas que sejam do seu interesse para que o aprendizado seja ainda mais efetivo e apaixonante.

This class is specific to people who want to take a lesson with more than one person. Similar to my normal conversation class, I will start by getting to know you, we will use videos, articles, writing and speaking prompts and more. The limit is three people per class.
