It was a sunny day, but my morning took a terrifying turn. As I got out of bed, I saw a small, black creature wriggling and twitching beneath my chair. I jumped back onto the bed, let out a scream, and my mom rushed in. She flinched too when she saw the partially dead cockroach. Mom called Dad over, then, he picked it up with a tissue, and tossed it away. I can't imagine how I would handle a situation like this if I were living alone.

she saw the partially dead cockroach. Mom called Dad over, then, he picked it up
with a tissue, and tossed it away. I can't imagine how I would handle a
situation like this if I were living alone.
I always quite liked them. They seemed to come in different sizes from very small to monster size!
