is Am = I'm ?
can we use or write "Am" to substitute of I'm ? my friends from London sometimes wrote it on the email, is it okay or she just misstype?

Nope. "Am" is a verb and you'd miss the subject here. -> Incomplete sentence. (Used in slang, though)
Example: There's a difference -
Eat a meal.
I eat a meal.

Ahh.. thanks Shanon, really understand what you mean, but is it okay if we only write Am without put the " I " on the sentence?

You either can write:
I am
or
I'm
I'm is a combination of I and am. Hope this helps! :)
