I'd like to make sure whether (!)the following English phrase is natural or not.
At a restaurant, three people ordered different food and beverage. The total payable amount was JPY3,300 and one of the man suggested as below.
(!) "Let's split the bill."
A Japanese website introduced that this phrase(!) will be used when people would like to pay fees equally.
(The case the above, JPY1,100 is payable per person.)
Sometimes this Japanese site publishes incorrect information. Therefore, I'd like to hear native English speakers opinion.
