I am personally associated with 5 countries. Ask me which! I speak English and Mandarin. Being young, having a big international and background, I had/have the pleasure to be surrounded by many languages that has always allowed me to connect with people at any stage in my life – so I’d love to talk with you!教学经验
My goal as a teacher/friend/language partner is to get you to use the language more and have fun doing it.
My high school sports background has allowed me to build many leadership qualities so I promise to be extremely encouraging with you on your journey.
We will take it step by step. We will work on your goals together as a team.

I will assist you in your pronunciation, accent, grammar, vocabulary, sentence structures, speech patterns and will teach you interesting slang, expressions and cultural differences in English along the way.
My strengths are helping learners improve their spoken English in different fun scenarios like daily life, job interviews, at bank, shopping and many more… where you will receive detailed feedback on what you are already doing well and which areas you could improve.

Shawn is really nice!! I absolutely enjoyed talking with him. He is soooo patient and always willing to help you. Would definitely recommend him to everyone who wants to learn English!! He speaks English very clearly and the good thing for Chinese students is that he can speak Mandarin fluently so you do not have to worry at all even if you are just a beginner in English.

I am a person who rarely gives reviews. Unless it is particularly good, I will share it with everyone. Shawn is a very humorous, interesting and professional teacher. At the beginning, I re-learned spoken English with the mentality of giving it a try. From being speechless to now being able to communicate very relaxedly, Shawn has been very patient in teaching me and will do some exercises for my weaknesses. The most important thing is that he likes Chinese culture, which makes me have more desire to express myself. I hope that one day I can confidently speak fluent English and promote everything about China to more foreigners.
