Mr. Tameem Ahmad is a skilled and highly effective teacher. My assessment is based on several factors: (1) He is methodical, consistent, and dependable [as a serious learner, I place a high value on these qualities]; (2) He is patient and supportive [these characteristics have a direct bearing on my comfort level and willingness to risk error]; (3) He seems to genuinely enjoy teaching [this enthusiasm helps to motivate me]. In light of my very positive experiences thus far (having taken over 100 lessons), I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Tameem Ahmad to other learners.

I've been learning Dari with Tameem since June 19th of this year, he is the best teacher I've had to date. I'm already speaking at the start of each class, without error, for at least 15 minutes and can already say a lot about myself as well as what I do on a daily basis, all thanks to his teaching methods. He teaches both reading and writing in an easy and non confusing or intimidating way after just a few lessons. The script is actually easy to understand. I'm looking forward to continuing to study with Tameem, and also to learning pashto with him next year. Caitlin.

Tameem is an excellent teacher and has made my learning a new language very easy. His methods of teaching are highly effective and he remains patient throughout. He uses various methods to teach and always ensures what has been learnt is reinforced with repitition. Anyone looking to learn a new language needs to find a teacher like this to be successful. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

We continued our Dari lessons, each class I'm learning a lot of new grammar and vocabulary. I like that I'm able to put more sentences together after our sessions.

Interesting lesson with Tameem. We discussed our plans and then he taught me some words. Tameem does not seem to work with textbooks and the like, which may be an issue for learners (usually like me) which desire the option to self-study alongside the lessons with the teacher. For informal Dari, however, I think this is a huge strength, as a spoken language in my view should be taught orally and not via some textbook, since the spoken language is constantly changing and even books fom 10 years ago could be outdated in many ways. I would recommend Tameem to those who are interested in learning Spoken Dari. For Formal Dari I probably would not, as I do think it would be best to grab a textbook and systematically go through that with a teacher, and this doesn't seem to be the learning style that Tameem likes to work with.

Tameem is a both great teacher and person. I feel very comfortable during the class and sometimes when I am bit lacking of focus or fully prepared, he is very supportive and patient. His teaching style is excellent, he is always prepared and has structure for each lesson. I like the fact that we practice a lot and I already can make decent sentences in Pashto. His knowledge about the language, etymology and history is comprehensive. Apart from language, he is very knowledgeable about the country, cutoms and culture so you get the notion of being fully immersed when learning Pashto with him. As a person who had studied other oriental languages, both at university and private lesson, I can say Tameem is definitely on the top of my list of best language teachers.
